The nursery registration day and charity match in aid of the Cormac Trust on Saturday were a great success. There was a massive turnout at the nursery and who knows, maybe a couple of future Dublin stars had their pics taken with Sam Maguire on Saturday. Thanks to all organizers and those who attended the events for making it a great day and particular thanks to Donal McAnallen, brother of Cormac, for attending Saturday afternoon’s match.

On behalf of the Juvenile Committee many thanks to the following who helped out to make Sam’s visit to the Nursery the success it was:
JP Carroll; Terry Carroll; Linda dolan; Anne-Marie Dolan; Pat Mannion; Orna Heuston; Gerry Dolan; Fidelma Hardiman; Fiona kearns; Kevin Brady; Eoin Dolan

For all their help on the day

James Mc Carthy & Philly Mc Mahon for posing umpteen times for pictures

A big thank you to all who brought cakes on the day

Ciaran O Hare (St Kevin's) for facilities and also special thanks to the Gymnastic Club allowing us the gym for the morning

And finally huge thanks to Melanie Wright for coordinating the whole day

The match in aid of the Cormac Trust for raising awareness of sudden cardiac arrest was an entertaining one with the game finishing 3-13 a piece after 70 minutes with Cormac McAnallens scoring a goal in the last minute to level the game. Thanks to Donal McAnallen, brother of Cormac, for attending on the day. Thanks to our GPO and Leitrim footballer James Glancy who togged out for Ballymun and to former footballer of the year Mattie Forde who played with Cormac McAnallens. Earlier in the day, St.Sylvesters ladies team beat Cormac McAnallens ladies.

Special thanks to Tom O'Donoghue, Greg Flanagan, Johnny Mahony, Tony Brabazon; Jeff Archbold, Darren Fitzpatrick and Clare Hanley without whose help in running the event was invaluable.
