To all Members, friends, sponsors and supporters.

Yesterday's Bainisteoir match will go down in the history of the club as one of the best days in pairc Ciceam. The executive committee would like to thank all who made the day possible. We estimated the crowd to be in excess of 2,000 people and it was a credit to all involved from committee level to volunteers and stewards, that the day went off without a hitch.

I would like to thank all the businesses that sponsored and assisted us for the day. A special mention to Dublin Bus, who on the day pulled out all the “stops” to ensure that the crowd was transported safely to and from the club. I would also like to thank An Garda Siochana, Ballymun Regeneration Ltd, Dublin City Council and Ballymun Partnership as well as the Autobahn roadhouse and all the local businesses who helped us in the weeks coming up to the match.

On a personal level I would like to thank Melanie Wright, who's tireless work as project manager ensured that the day was a huge success.
