Club Notes, 22.09.09

The Seniors were unlucky to lose by a point to the All Ireland Club Champions Kilmacud Crokes 2-08 to 1-10 in Parnell Park on Friday. The Inters were beaten by St. Brigids on Saturday. The Juniors won on Sunday morning away to Robert Emmets, Many thanks to Eamonn Donnelly who stepped down as Manager.

Things were much brighter on the Juvenile front as the U12s beat Round Towers (c)  with Cain Fallon, Sean Brennan ,Cathal O'Tighe and Ryan O Leary among the best for The Mun but it was James Talbot that gave the man of the Match performance with a fine display in Goals. The U16s also won in the league against Lucan Sarsfield with Andy O’Brien and John Small leading the way for the Green and Red.

Team of the week however goes to the U15s who had a cracking win against Castleknock in Porterstown 5-08 to 1-09 on Saturday in the quarter finals of the A Championship with Jason Freeman and Ryan Cahill among the Best for the Mun and Miles Gardner giving a Man of the Match performance

The Club Nursery continues this Saturday at 10:00am in Pairc Ciceam, for all Boys and Girls aged 4-8 are welcome.
