Gentleman, suggest we cancel the “Legends kick around” tonight 12.9.11 as we won't have the numbers. Please can you pass the word as I don't have phone numbers for all the regulars. Ryaner, Andy Mac, G.Staunton, Robbie D, Kinger are all aware.

Thanks Bergo.

Another bit of craic tonight…

No hits, no sprints, just a bit of a kick around and a great laugh. If you're interested, just reply here or contact anyone of the fellow justified and ancient!

OK, I've just about mustered the energy to post after Monday night's exertions! Good craic, and not too much physical activity. We had 8 up this time, so the more the merrier next Monday! Looking forward to it already!

Seems the rain scared away a few that expressed an interest! Was very enjoyable though, so we'll try again next Monday at 7.30 again!

Calling all retired footballers:

I know I miss kicking the ball about, so I was wondering if I was on my own… I found out tonight that I'm not. So I'm putting it out there…

I'm proposing that once/twice a week, or three times, (if the support for it is there) we play a small sided game of football up in the club (Monday nights at 7.30 to start???) just to keep the body in motion, and to get a sweat up… I reckon we could have a 7 a side Gaelic football game every week, just to vent the frustrations of life on each other… It would be low contact, and low intensity. Just a way of exercising, and keeping the game we all loved….

Anyone interested, message here, private message me or text me if you have my mobile number….

Cheers,
Rochey.

Yeah, That sounds good to me , count me in..

Sounds good to me Rochey. If you get the numbers then I'm in most nights. Guees we will have to bum a ball of someone. Won't be easy. Bergo.
