Howya all.

Just an update. We actually received way more photos, info, stories etc than we anticipated, so in order to make sure that this material is compiled and edited  to create a factual and yet enjoyable book, we decided to postpone the publishing, untill further notice.

It is hoped that we will begin, very soon, our oral history section, with interviews etc to include some of the founders of the club. After that, it is back to the publisher again, and their job to tidy up what we have collected… So while it's due out soon, we are in no rush to complete it and want to ensure that it's done correctly.

Thanks to all who contributed, and to all for your patience.

Cathal.

PS, if you're trying to contact me via mobile phone about the book, I am currently phone-less for a few days. Apparently babies think it's great to chuck phones into buckets of bleach!

I’ll eat my Micky if that leg aint broken….

I am sure you thought of it but try John Roche for photos, he came to all of our games when we were kids and still attends games with his camera but does not use the internet.

Indeed we did, he gave us a great selection of photos….

Alternatively, if the above dates or times do not suit, please don't hesitate to contact me on 0872731538 or Macker on 0871957469. Much obliged folks, and as Macker said, all goods will be returned in the condition they were received.

Thanks.

Ballymun Kickhams are currently putting together a book on the history of Ballymun Kickhams. We are looking for club memorabilia to assist us in the production of this book. Therefore we are holding 2 nights next week, Tuesday 20th October at 7pm in the clubhouse, and Thursday at 9pm in the Autobahn, to collect memorabilia for inclusion in the book.  ALL SUBMISSIONS WILL BE RETUREND TO OWNERS. Please spread the word, and we look forward to seeing you next week.

Hi All,

The club is putting together a book documenting the history of Ballymun Kickhams. This book is going to be produced in record time for the Christmas market. We are now looking for any old club information, including old minutes, photos, newspaper cutting etc. There will be 2 open days where you can bring such documentation. These days will be announced shortly. In the meantime, if you feel you have anything worth while to contribute, please do not hesitate to contact Dermot McMahon or Cathal Roche. If you cannot make the soon to be publicised open day please contact one of us and we will collect. We will also be interviewing prominent members of the club, so if you wish to be involved in this please contact us also. Remember, this book is to be written by the members of the club, so it is up to the members to get all the information to us.
